Audi A6/A8 Battery Adaptation by OBDeleven

After replacing battery for VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda vehicle,if require you to configure the battery.Here I want to show the steps of how to use OBDeleven to adapt battery for Audi A6/A8.


Preparations:
OBDeleven Adapter
OBDeleven Softeare Free Download

Procedures:
Connect the OBDeleven to your vehicle OBD port,and turn ignition on.

Enter the OBDeleven App on your mobile,to tap the “Connect” button

After connection built,tap the "Battery Regulation" button as below

Scroll down to select “Battery Regulation”

Select “Subsystem”à”Coding”


Select “30”

Then it prompt you t enter the value

Here you need to note the:
Battery Part Number:8K0915105E
Vendor:MLA
Battery Serial Number:1809022EKA

Enter the value “8K0915105E MLA1809022EKA ”

The wait a minute,it show the coding accepted.

Here is a OBDeleven test on VW golf gti window remote control coding.Window remote function allows you to roll the windows up and down using the remote of the vehicle by holding the lock and unlock button.

Procedures:
Plug the OBDeleven adapter to vehicle OBD port,and build the connection between vehicle and OBDeleven on your mobile.

Tap the vehicle model show on mobile

Tap the “Apps” option.

Then scroll down the Apps list to select “Windows function from remote”

You will see below information
In head unit,Car->Setup->Open and Close->Conv.opening (all windows for drivers window)
And you need to tap the drop-down option and change the “OFF” value to “ON”


Then tap the lower right corner button to continue.
Now you will see it show the coding success

The you can use the remote to test the window remote function

It is something that intended to run the boost into the engine compartment so or into the cabin to have more engine noise or feel inside the capacitor department compartment,so this particular thing is not new specifically.Just how they executed is actually new to these models.

Procedures:
Here i take MK7 as example to show you how to use OBDeleven to disable the sound actor.
Plug OBDeleven adapter to MK7 OBD port

Then run the OBDeleven software on your device (Android system),select “My car ” after build connection

Tap “Apps” section

Then scroll down the options on the Apps section to select “SOUND ACTOR”

It will cost you 10 credits to perform this feature,now you can open the value drop-down menu to select it to the specific value

After set the value percent,you can go to control unit to test the sound actor.

Tap this”not active” section to active


Now you can sound the fun noise
You also can go to adaptation section to select the volume of volume of structure-borne actuator


You can just put in a value,obviously you can always test whatever you have a preference for.

This article show a guide on how to use OBDeleven to reset Audi A7 service & inspection interval light.If you bring your vehicle to small independent repair shop or doing the work yourself and they don’t have a service shop that you’re working with maybe doesn’t have something like this give you ability to reset this will do so much less than what an Audi dealer would charge for an hour labor.So this is going to be more viable option especially if you’re doing your own work and gives you the ability to reset your service light just like you would from the factory.

Procedures:

Firstly,you need to plug the OBDeleven to OBD2 port,then turn the key into the ON position,because this vehicle obviously doesn’t have an actual key.The way you would do that is keep your foot off the brake and then just push the start/stop button if your foot is on the brake the engine is obviously going to start.

Then go to the OBDeleven app and you’re going to connect to your device.

Once you’re connected,on the top left of the screen you’re going to see three lines

Tap the three lines icon,and then we are going to “My car”

Once you go to my vehicle you click on the app section.

Once you click on the app section,it will pull up all the available options you have for this particular vehicle

We are going to scroll down until we hit our “Oil Service Reset”

Hit that checkmark
Note:Make sure all service operations were completed as per the service or owners manual.Make sure all service operations were completed as per the service or owners manual.

Then it will prompt success on the bottom you get that green bar that lights up on the bottom and say success,once it is accepted and we can go back,and select “INSPECTION SERVICE Reset”

Then we go to down to the inspection reset hit that and then go hit that checkmark

Once done,it’s going to say success and you have now successfully performed the service light and inspection reset on you Audi.
